I started climbing in Yorkshire on the Gritstone edges. I was quickly hooked and wanted to take my climbing further, I was captivated by the taller cliffs and crags in the nearby Lake District. I quickly made it my goal to learn how to tackle these taller cliffs, quickly finding myself on my first multi pitch, Little Chamonix at Shepards Crag in Borrowdale.
Since then, climbing has taken me across the world and given me a lifetime of experiences. I’m still drawn back to the amazing climbing we have in the UK, based in North Wales / Gogledd Cymru, I’m super lucky to have some amazing climbing on my doorstep.
My passion for climbing is evident in my work, I am constantly reflecting on how to teach, coach and guide in better ways.
I am a fully qualified Mountaineering and Climbing Instructor and a member of the Association of Mountaineering Instructors.
